The filter paper method of brewing helps remove the oils produced during extraction, giving a softer edge to the coffee flavour. Allowing it to be smoother yet with less crema. The three coffees selected compliment perfectly the filtered method of coffee brewing. Their full complex flavour, still evident after passing through the coffee filter.
Colombian Lucero is a full bodied coffee that once passed through a paper filter is smooth tasting. A wonderful black coffee, the taste still evident once milk has been added.
Costa Rica Tarazzu has a thick crema, with strong fruity notes that give way to a natural syrupy sweetness.
El Salvador Finca has a full crema as it brews, the paper filter removes the crema but leaves behind it’s wonderful complex flavours.
