This blend of Peruvian coffee beans mixes three different types of beans that are commonly grown in Peru. It is essentially a blend of a Peruvian Decaffeinated bean and two unprocessed coffee beans.
The result is a creamy smooth coffee with a lower caffeine content than is normal. It is perfect for an evening unwind after a hard days work, yet should not keep you awake.
The coffee varieties themselves come from the west and south west of Peru from a variety of farms and are grown at a height of between 1000-1300m. They are harvested from October to January.
It is a sweet coffee with excellent balance and acidity. This coffee has a full flavour which does not tail off and lingers on the palate.
Coffee Variety- Typica, Caturra and La Castillo.
Aroma- Honey.
Flavour- Smooth, Dark Chocolate.
Sweetness- Praline.
Acidity- Low to medium.
