Colombian Supremo

Originates in the region of Antioquia in the Western Andes of Colombia at a height of 1450-1800 metres. Here a co-operative of smallholder farmers ferment the beans before drying them on patios. They are fair-trade certified and exported according to their bean size and grade. The Supremo grade is the highest grade of bean, size 18.

Colombian Supremo is a full bodied coffee, with a sweet cherry and fruity aroma.

This coffee is best enjoyed from the eighth day after roasting.

Colombian Supremo

Lying on the slopes of the Western Andes in the region of Antioquia. This large single origin coffee bean is slowly grown at a height of 1450-1800 metres, The bean size is 18 which ensures the Supremo grading, the highest quality that Colombia has to offer. It is well suited to the Colombian climate and is harvested from September through to December.

The coffee beans are hand picked and wet processed. The pulp is removed and the bean and left to ferment, before being dried on patios and packed for export.

It is a full bodied coffee with a sweet caramel flavour and fruity aroma..
